Position Overview & Specifications
We wish to appoint a highly motivated Design & Technology and Art Technician to provide assistance and support in meeting the practical needs of the both the Design & Technology and Art curriculum in the teaching and learning of the Academy. This role will co-ordinate the use of the practical resources and facilities and will support staff and students, including the preparation of materials and maintenance of equipment as necessary. Relevant qualifications to the post would be desirable. The successful candidate must be able to communicate well with staff and students, have good organisational skills and an eye for details. Some knowledge and or experience of Health and Safety procedures and qualified as a First Aider or willingness to train are desirable.
