We are currently recruiting a Kitchen assistant to work at our site in Colchester.

The role is varied and could potentially lead to a culinary career for the right person. The position has variation daily. The contract is term time, permanent. You will be working Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, based around school day hours – great if you are a parent or carer!

The hourly rate for the position is £9.50 and you will be working a contracted 25-hour week. Not only that, but you will also be joining a great team, with fabulous career prospect.   To maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to standard
• You will be working with the culinary team preparing food trolleys for delivery to campus
• Performing cleaning tasks
• Assisting in basic food prep for service
• Supporting the Kitchen team in delivering first class service
• Driving company vehicle around the sites

Qualifications and experience needed

• Previous KP experience would be an advantage
• Experience in industrial catering.
• A passion for food and service
• Completing paperwork when required
