Acting as an advocate for the Sainsbury’s culture, values and behaviours, you will assist in the control and management of the major retailer’s returns and customer order queries on a daily / weekly basis.

  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills

What you’ll be doing


  • Communicating effectively to internal and external customers

  • Processing of returns

  • Liaising with suppliers and regional distribution Centre’s to resolve disputes

  • Generating invoices for stock returned to suppliers

  • Reporting and investigating issues as part of a continual improvement process

  • Generating and distributing reports centrally required by the Hub Managers, e.g. vehicle fill, delivered pallets by hub, journeys by hub, daily schedule & wave adherence for the network

  • Producing reports for further analysis from the Transport Management Systems

  • Ensuring relevant issues are escalated appropriately


This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake any other duties deemed appropriate by your line manager to facilitate the smooth running of the depot.
