Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 40 hours per week

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site in Gunwharf Quays

As a Security Officer you will be working as part of a team of security professionals in a Premium retail outlet, ensuring that all aspects of security are delivered and are carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and occupiers.
• Always offer and promote the best customer services.
• Assist and monitor the security team to respond to incidents.
• Assist with all emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols.
• Ensure when conducting building patrol Health and Safety is always adhered to.
• Loss prevention
• Dealing with traffic management
• Dealing with a night-time economy
• Prevent and detect fire, water leaks, and any potential safety hazards.

About You:

• Good communication (both written and oral) and customer service skills.
• Experience in working within a team as well as on your own.
• A valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor/Security Guarding)
• CCTV Licence is desirable but not essential to apply for this position.
• Demonstrate proactive and a professional approach to security.
• Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
• Attention to detail, proactive and excellent time management.
• Knowledge of first aid is desirable but not essential.
• Shift work day and night
• Must have a valid SIA licence
