The role

As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Playing a significant role in the current finance transformation project and in providing good quality and accurate ad hoc analytical support to the finance leadership team.

Day to day you'll:

• Assist with month-end reporting processes, adhering to Group and Sector standards and timescales
• Liaising with external auditors
• Play an active role in supporting the finance transformation agenda
• Contribution to finance and site-wide continuous improvement projects
• Support to ad hoc reporting and analysis requirements

Essential experience of the Assistant Accountant

Must have:

• Basic understanding of accounting concepts

Advantageous:

• Experience of IFS/SAP or BPC

This role is a hybrid role with at least 1 day per week in the office at Rosyth

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
