Junior Software Engineer Position Requirements
- Academic background in Electrical, Automation, Control Systems, electronics, or relevant engineering discipline.
- Electrical background with a focus on controls engineering.
- Knowledge of CANbus technology.
- Knowledge of PLC Programming, Codesys is preferable (especially using ST Structured Text, FBD Functional Block Diagram and/or C++ languages).
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols e.g., Ethernet/IP, CAN2.0B, J1939, CAN open, etc.
- Strong communication skills.
- Collaborative teamwork approach -Not afraid to get your message across.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint".
- Based within a commutable distance of Ayrshire.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.

- Salary - £20,000 to £25,000 - dependent upon experience.
