Following overwhelming demand and success for employment support offered in Talking Therapies, East Berkshire, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our Employment Service to West Berkshire.

Several opportunities are now available for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team and contribute to the innovative work taking place in Talking Therapies.

You will be working in a motivated, supportive environment, helping people experiencing low mood and/or anxiety with practical employment matters. You will be joining a growing team who are proud of supporting and empowering clients and excited that we will be able to offer support to even more people.

If you have the skills and experience in supporting and empowering clients to achieve their goals and aspirations, focusing on their employment journey, come along and join us in Talking Therapies where you will make a difference!

We have full-time or part-time opportunities, across Newbury, Reading, and Wokingham. Flexibility is essential for this role, with a combination of working remotely from home and travelling across West Berkshire as and when required.

This position offers excellent training and development opportunities for the right candidate.

We welcome applicants who speak additional languages fluently.

In this role you will:
  • Hold a caseload of clients
  • Support clients to find work, stay in work, or return to work after sick leave
  • Offer support via telephone, video calls (Teams), emails, and face-to-face as needed
  • Offer varied and tailored support to individuals, using tools and resources to empower clients to resolve practical employment issues
  • Research national and local sources of employment support and guidance, adding to the team’s bank of resources
There will be a requirement to undertake a short formal study programme.
