Who we are looking for

A MicroStrategy Team Leader who will be responsible for managing and implementing changes into the MicroStrategy reporting service.

You will be responsible for delivering items from large scale changes within business transformative programmes, all the way to minor improvements requested by a single user.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure a high quality, whilst striving for improvement of the performance of the reporting services, to satisfy the ever-growing and changing demands of the business and regulations.

The day-to-day work is varied, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience Commercial experience working with an enterprise BI solution. Ability to lead a team of highly technical developers. Experience managing a small to medium sized team. Relational set based processing through complex SQL queries. Commercial experience of MicroStrategy 2021. Highly motivated, demonstrating flexibility and a can do attitude towards work. Keen attention to detail. Ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities Acting as line manager for the MicroStrategy development team. Managing, prioritising and monitoring of team work streams. Owning the MicroStrategy development processes and standards. Gaining an intimate and detailed knowledge of the business processes and data structures. Developing departmental standards and enforcing adherence to the development process. Raising all necessary configuration and change requests required for regulatory compliance. Creating and maintaining all relevant documentation.
