We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter (Driver Mate) to join our team in the Croydon area for the delivery of flatpack furniture to our customers' homes. As a Porter (Driver Mate), you will be responsible for assisting our delivery driver with the safe and efficient transportation of furniture from our warehouse to our customers' homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the driver with loading and unloading furniture from the van
Navigate the local area to find the delivery address
Deliver furniture to the customers' homes with care and attention to detail
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Ensure all furniture is delivered in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
Good spoken English
Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
