We currently have a vacancy for an Independent Reviewing Officer based in The Portal, Ellesmere Port.

Cheshire West and Chester is seeking to recruit a permanent appointment to the post of Independent Reviewing Officer, in the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Unit.
The vacancy is for a full-time post, at 37 hours per week.
The responsibilities of the post include completing the statutory reviews of children who are looked after by the local authority. This requires the post holder to chair reviews in accordance with statutory timescales, scrutinise the progress of the care plan between reviews and to raise and escalate concerns where plans are not progressed or where there is a risk to the child. The post holder is also required to maintain contact with children between reviews and liaise with family members and professionals involved with the child.
