Position Overview & Specifications
Biomedical Scientist required for a Band 6 position in the Clinical Blood Sciences (CBS) / Biochemistry laboratory of the South West London Pathology Service (SWLP).
The SWLP provides laboratory services to the NHS and private sector laboratories in south-west London and surrounding area.
These roles will be based in biochemistry laboratory of Kingston University which includes both routine (bone profile, glucose, lipid profile, liver function tests, thyroid function tests and urea and electrolytes) and specialist biochemistry tests.
These excellent opportunities will be offered on a permanent basis and with a very attractive salary and relocation packages including the following:
Band 6 Salary 37,150 - 44,881 inclusive of London location allowance
Relocation package with a value of up to 4,500*, including sign on and loyalty bonus as well as assistance with flights, accommodation and HCPC registration
Overtime pay and shift work

Trust and laboratory induction

Interested candidates will hold:
- A recognised qualification as Biomedical Scientist
- A minimum 1.5 years post graduate experience as a Biomedical Scientist with a some in biochemistry.
- Full training will be provided to build on core skills
- Eligible for registration with the HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist
