We have several permanent and casual vacancies for Support Workers who are innovative, enthusiastic and have good communication skills to come and join our Learning Disability Provider Services teams at Short Term Breaks (Holicote). Our services support people to access their local community by providing personal and practical assistance to people with a variety of needs, including behavioural and complex physical needs. Our main priority is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to join the team and we will provide you with training for all the required work tasks, as well as opportunity to shadow existing colleagues as part of your induction. Above all we are looking for people who: • Want to be the best they can in the role and are committed to quality • Can provide excellent care and support to people accessing our services • Treat others with dignity and respect • Work well as part of a team You can expect to receive regular supervision and appraisal, outstanding training and development opportunities. The duties are varied and no two days are the same. The role is extremely rewarding and you can make an important difference to the individuals you are supporting. The following posts are available; As well as casual posts we have 2 x 18.5 hours per week permanent posts based at Holicote. The services operates Saturday to Friday (24/7) based on a shift rota including weekend, sleep-ins, Waking Nights, evening/night and Bank Holiday working.
