Pre- opening Receptionist - Hampton by Hilton, London City

Dominus Group, the London-based property developer and investment group, is looking for a pre-opening Guest Services Agent (Front Office) to join their new site, Hampton by Hilton London City, in the historic Aldgate.

Responding to strong demand for the Hampton by Hilton brand in London, the hotel is planned to open in May 2023 through a partnership with Dominus Group and under the management of Madison Cairn. The hotel is a stone’s throw from Old Spitalfields Market, sandwiched between Shoreditch and the City, London's historic business district. Plans will revitalise the 1960s building with features that complement the surrounding historic architecture.

The property is opening with 129 guestrooms in May 2023, building to 278 guestrooms in 2024.

About the role

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. You’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience, you’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

Some of the duties you’ll undertake in this varied role include - telephone enquiries, reservations, preparing invoices and taking payments from our guests, conducting end of shift/day banking, and preparing for the shift ahead as well as assisting other Guest Servives Agents in operating and preparing food to local food safety laws and to Hampton by Hilton specifications, ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. Ensuring food and beverage procedures and standards are adhered to and complies with local and hotel licencing laws.

About You

• Experience in a similar or front facing customer service role with an outgoing and bubbly personality
• Strong communication skills through a variety of means
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks.
• High attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing one’s own time
