About the role

Staynor Hall Primary Academy is looking to recruit a hardworking cleaner to work as part of the school cleaning team.

The working hours for this role are Monday – Friday 4.00pm – 6.00pm, these hours are to be worked during the school term time plus an additional two weeks during the school holidays.

The aim of the post is to provide a good quality cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the school, resulting in a clean and healthy environment for pupils and staff. Day to day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;

  • Emptying waste bins
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors
  • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms
  • Wiping down and dusting furniture

Job requirements

You will be able to work well within a team, understanding the importance of working together to achieve the highest standards. You will be able to communicate and relate well to children, other staff members and the wider school community. You will have fantastic time keeping skills and be a reliable member of the team. Experience would be beneficial however it is not essential as full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
