Position Overview & Specifications
At Estabulo we prepare all of our dishes in an authentic manner to give you the true taste of Brazilian Rodizio. Estabulo honours the Brazilian Gaucho’s traditional method of cooking, this involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.
This method of cooking also means that all the meat is served fresh to the customers table, straight from the grill. Our unlimited dining concept sees customers enjoy as much meat, fresh salads and sides as they like, at a set price. As well as our main menus, we also have a selection of Vegetarian, Halal and Fish dishes on offer.
Estabulo’s beautiful restaurant interior, and dedicated bar area which serves an array of gorgeous cocktails, makes it the perfect place to dine with friends, family or for a romantic date night. We are looking to recruit a Head Grill Chef to join our friendly team in Norwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person who has a real passion for customer service.
Job purpose
As a Head Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing amazing food for our customers. Your duties will include cooking dishes unique to the restaurant and training and leading kitchen staff. You will maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
- Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Being responsible for health and safety
- Being responsible for food hygiene practices
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Grill Chef
- Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
- Ability to work under pressure
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills
Contract type: Zero-hour
Reports to: General Manager

Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour
