Are you looking to join a growing independent pharmacy group with branches across the North of England?
Our client is seeking a service-driven and professional GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to join their branch in Manchester (M20).
The Pharmacist Manager will run the pharmacy efficiently and effectively, providing first-class services to patients in the community, alongside leading a dynamic team of Dispensers and Delivery Drivers.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday (9am to 6:30pm) and Saturday (9am to 1pm)
Salary is up to £67,000 DOE + pension contribution, bonus scheme, free onsite parking and more!
Requirements for the Pharmacist Manager
- GPhC registered Pharmacist, ideally with at least 3 years’ post qualification experience.
- Experience of managing and leading a team.
- Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and run the pharmacy effectively.
- Customer-focussed Pharmacist who enjoys delivering excellent services.
Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager
- Dispensing Prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations. Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles and prescribing errors.
- Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Dispenser’s workflow, verifying their preparation and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
- Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of healthcare professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.
