The post is based in a service that provides residential care to children with a range of needs including emotional and behavioural. You will provide care and support to the children and young people in the service.
Your duties will include:
*Providing care and support to young people
*Providing guidance and help
*Helping with activities, education and daily living tasks
*Helping children to settle into the service
*Helping with preparation for leaving care services
Full training and induction is provided, so if you are looking for your first role in social care, this will be a great opportunity. You must have a caring nature and you will need to be patient, understanding and be able to build rapport and relationships with vulnerable young people. Due to the location of the service it is essential that you are a driver with your own transport.
