What you'll do

As Occupational Health Technician you’ll:

  • Conduct base line screenings / health surveillance according to Greggs Health Surveillance Matrix and legislative requirements

  • Maintain up-to-date electronic / paper records in accordance with data protection requirements

  • Undertake tasks to support the OHA with appointments and related occupational health administration

  • Assist with health promotion and wellbeing initiatives

  • Management and maintenance of all relevant technical equipment (spirometer, audiometer, Keystone), systems and processes

  • Review new starter Health Assessment forms and refer any areas of concern to OHA

  • Provide support for other business initiatives as required

About you

You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

  • Skills and experience in undertaking audiometry, spirometry tests and standard screening questionnaires such as for drivers, night workers, cold workers, skin screening

  • Experience in undertaking health surveillance

  • IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative

  • Flexibility around working hours as may be required to work different shifts

  • UK Driving Licence

  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
