Position Overview & Specifications
Location: This post is primarily based at Alton
Role Description: Assisting midwives and other members of the healthcare team to support women and their families in all areas of maternity care.
What we look for:
- Experience in maternity care within the hospital and ideally within the community setting as well to join our team providing maternity services across a large part of Hampshire
- Care certificate and skills/competencies signed off as Band 2 MSW
- Able to provide administration and clerical support, working 0800-1600 hours, 5 days a week between Monday – Sunday
- Ability to work as part of a team, be organised and prioritise personal workload
- Be part of a dynamic, professional and supportive team committed to providing high standards of care and also committed to the training and development of our Maternity Support Worker.
