  • Over 2M loyal customers: Started in a shared apartment by three best friends, we have scaled to Europe's fastest growing consumer brand—and our cult-like community, the HOLY Squad, loves it: 4.6 stars on reviews.io speak for themselves.
  • From D2C to Global Omnichannel: In less than four years, we've profitably scaled HOLY to more than €180M D2C revenue in DACH, FR, UK and PL. Now scaling our retail business, we're on an exciting transition to becoming a true omnichannel rocketship.
  • We are still just getting started: Backed by the world's best consumer investors, we aim to revolutionize the soft drink industry and build a generational love brand: tastier, healthier & more sustainable. Our team of 170+ people aims high (Coca-Cola, we're coming for you!).

About the Position

As Procurement Director, you will build one of HOLY's most important competitive advantages: a world-class supplier ecosystem that enables us to scale faster, improve margins and consistently deliver outstanding products to our customers.

Procurement at HOLY is far more than buying ingredients. You will own our sourcing strategy across ingredients, packaging, merchandising and co-manufacturing while continuously improving cost, quality, supplier performance, flexibility and speed.

This is a highly strategic leadership position reporting directly to our COO, Markus. You will work closely with Product Development, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Finance and our founders to build supplier partnerships capable of supporting HOLY's ambitious growth journey toward becoming a global consumer brand.

We are not necessarily looking for a traditional procurement leader. We are looking for an exceptional builder with outstanding commercial judgment who enjoys solving complex business problems and creating long-term competitive advantages.

If you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset, thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building things from scratch, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Strategic procurement

  • Own HOLY's sourcing strategy across ingredients, packaging, merchandising and co-manufacturing
  • Develop category strategies that improve competitiveness, resilience and long-term scalability
  • Drive structural COGS improvements through strategic sourcing, commercial excellence and value engineering
  • Identify new sourcing opportunities, technologies and supplier capabilities to strengthen HOLY's competitive position
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships with HOLY's key suppliers
  • Develop suppliers across capacity, quality, innovation, flexibility and operational excellence
  • Ensure our suppliers scale alongside HOLY's ambitious growth plans
  • Establish HOLY as a preferred customer through trust, transparency and professional supplier management
  • Strengthen our supplier ecosystem through selective onboarding of new partners and pragmatic multi-sourcing where it creates value
Supply Chain & Operational Excellence
  • Improve end-to-end supply chain performance by reducing lead times, increasing supplier responsiveness and improving planning reliability
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain Planning and Operations to align supplier capabilities with demand forecasts, inventory targets and growth plans
  • Improve working capital through stronger commercial terms, better supplier collaboration and optimized replenishment models
  • Support the development of a scalable and resilient manufacturing network
Supplier Performance & Quality
  • Own supplier performance across quality, OTIF, responsiveness, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Establish structured Supplier Business Reviews, measurable KPIs and clear accountability with strategic suppliers
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks before they impact the business
  • Ensure suppliers consistently meet HOLY's quality, food safety and regulatory standards
Leadership & Organization Building
  • Lead and develop HOLY's Strategic Procurement and Operational Buying teams
  • Build a high-performance organization with strong commercial capabilities, clear ownership and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Develop future leaders and continuously raise the maturity of HOLY's procurement function
  • Build scalable processes, systems and ways of working that support HOLY's growth

About You

We care more about your ability to solve complex business problems than about having followed a traditional career path.

You might come from Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, Strategy Consulting, Commercial or another highly analytical business function.

Ideally, you bring several of the following experience & expertise:

  • Outstanding structured problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex challenges into pragmatic solutions
  • Strong track record of leading and developing teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth or entrepreneurial environments where ownership and speed matter
  • Strong commercial judgment and experience negotiating with suppliers, partners or senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business impact
  • Experience building scalable processes, organizations and ways of working
  • Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage or consumer goods is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus but not required)
Mindset & Qualities:
  • You are a builder who enjoys creating structures, teams and processes from scratch
  • You combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and are comfortable getting hands-on
  • You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities and can quickly structure complex situations
  • You take ownership, move fast and thrive in environments with high autonomy and ambiguity
