Machine Operative

Overview: Humdinger, Heckington, NG34 9JH
Shift: - Day Shift: 3 on 4 off 12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm)
Pay Rate: £12.76
About the role:
We're seeking skilled Operatives who are hard working with strong communication skills and the ability to meet manufacturing deadlines within a team environment. Ideally, you will have worked in an FMCG/ Food Manufacturing environment previously with proven experience of working with machinery.

We are based in Heckington (Sleaford) and Hull and we are part of the Zertus UK & Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit partnered with other food manufacturers across the country. Responsibilities:

• To assist in the safe, efficient and accurate running of the Roasting/ Frying Room.
• Adhere to process control checks.
• Complete various paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Report breakdowns, working with the Engineering team.
• Liaise with the quality teams and supervisors regarding any anomalies found whilst operating equipment.
• Ensure the safety, legality and GMP standards of the production facility.

Qualifications:

• Food Safety Level 3
• Formal basic Mechanical appreciation
• Good oral and written communication skills are required and paperwork to be completed and signed off where necessary.
