Hush is a fast-growing fashion and lifestyle brand, founded 18 years ago by Mandy Watkins and now established as one of the UK’s leading online fashion retailers. We employ around 150 staff in our head office and across 30 John Lewis concessions, creating and selling a beautiful range of women’s clothing and accessories that are characterised by an elegant simplicity and laidback sense of style. The Role:This is an amazing opportunity to join the hush Garment Technology team; a fabulous group of people focused on ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality garments to our lovely customers. This role would suit individuals with a solid grounding in garment technology processes focused on furthering their technical skills within fashion retail production; keen to learn and develop in a fast-paced but nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Working within the softs woven team from development through to production of the product; liaising where necessary with the relevant product teams.
- Support and work with the senior tech in fit meetings in order to develop fitting skills.
- Support the senior tech by prepping samples, taking fit comments during the fit process.
- Uploading comments onto PLM creating tech packs for suppliers.
- Managing the testing, shipment and AQL documents.
- Participating with the wider technical team on shared projects and training to deliver the business objectives.
- Great organisation skills are essential.
- Be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Have working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Have fantastic interpersonal skills – build and manage relationships with colleagues and suppliers, being open and honest in communications.
- Enjoy working in a close team but also the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
