Hydraquip is the largest independent Hose & Hydraulics Company in the UK. We are dedicated to providing the highest levels of service to our customers. We aim to provide the best hose repair service in this area.
The key to our success is our people. We are recruiting a Trainee Mobile Hose Engineer to cover the Tiverton/Collumpton areas to grow the business in this location.
Hydraquip's engineers are trained to current industry standards with additional training given where required to ensure all service jobs are completed to the highest standard.
The Trainee Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer Role
After the appropriate training is given, your daily duties will mainly include attending to the sites, replacing hoses and hydraulic components for our clients, liaising with existing customers, reporting job processes through the company mobile app, and updating orders.
The role involves also developing the business with existing and new customers.
Basic hours of work are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
As the Trainee Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer you will be expected to be part of an on-call rota (usually one week a month) which will require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by overtime pay + bonuses for being on a call-out.
Requirements as a Trainee Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer include:
The ideal candidate must be a hard-working and reliable person, being able to work unsupervised and be customer-focused.
Experience working in the Hose Replacement Industry or as a Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter, etc. will be a significant advantage.
The job role involves canvassing potential new customers so candidates must be confident dealing with new & existing customers.
All applicants must hold the UK Driving Licence, ideally for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3 penalty points.
