In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your roles & responsibilities:
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Design, implement and test new features in the application in C#
- Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process
- Diagnose and fix bugs
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure the successful running of your deliveries
- Participate as a team member in fully agile Scrum deliveries
- Work as a mentor to junior team members
- Report to the tech lead
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficient in C# .NET (particularly ASP.NET Core)
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript and web development frameworks (Vue.JS) is preferred but not essential
- Proven experience with software design and object oriented development methodologies
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with cloud (Azure preferred)
- Strong experience with web services development (REST)
- Strong in object oriented programming, MVC, MVVM, design patterns and SOLID principles
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to prioritise work and be self-sufficient.
- A curious and inquisitive mind; a willingness to explore, learn and challenge
