Job Title Consumer Insight Executive Job Description An exciting role to bring us closer to our customers globally and help IG grow and execute on its strategy. Role Purpose The role provides IG with valuable customer insights needed to develop market leading product offering and build customer experiences to explore opportunities and win in key growth markets in a fast-growing industry. The role supports and manage research projects and partner with a broad range of stakeholders within the business. The role covers a wide range of geographic markets, products and customer segments. What you’ll do As part of the Consumer Insight & Strategy Team, you will be in charge of end to end management and delivery of a wide variety of research projects across markets, including:
  • Quantitative surveys, including questionnaire design, programming, data analysis and reporting on variety of topics such as investment trends, consumer sentiments and brand performance;
  • Interviews and focus groups with IG clients and other traders (e.g., ad campaign testing, product testing, etc);
  • Country and product specific market studies;
  • UI & UX research on IG products and services;
  • Analysis of competitors and external market trends.
Present detailed findings to management, summarising key points with recommendations for business action; Partner with country teams across the business to understand local market dynamics and to translate group strategy to local needs; Build a network across the business to understand group priorities, performance and trends; Most projects are conducted in house, but some management of agencies is required.   • Proven track record of supporting market research projects on either the agency or client side;
  • Understanding of quantitative techniques and previous experience of quantitative surveys and data analysis in consumer research projects on either the agency or client side;
  • Experience in qualitative research projects, depth interviews and / or focus groups;
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently research a market or sector where required;
  • Ability to deliver and present research findings and draw out the key conclusions and actions to key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English language. Additional language skills are of advantage, but not required
