Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for General Maintenance Operative to join one of our live music and arts venues based in the heart of the West End in Covent Garden. The site you will be working on is one of the most well-known and recognized of it's kind not just in London but throughout Europe and beyond. It's a very customer-facing environment and you will be responsible for ensuring the company delivers its contractual obligations on time whilst leading a small team and maintaining all electrical, mechanical and critical site-based equipment
Main duties and responsibilities- To implement the building services planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and Reactive Maintenance in accordance with the building operating manuals and in compliance with the contract service levels
- To implement mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM in accordance with the O&M Manuals and service levels to their skill level
- To implement and co-ordinate the activities of specialist subcontractors into the PPM programme
- To carry out Reactive Maintenance in response to Help Desk requirements in compliance with the contract service level outputs
- To report back to the Help Desk and the Contracts Delivery Manager on completion of PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks
- To provide information in support of contract reports supplied to the Trust
- To support the Site Manager / Contract Delivery Manager in all aspects of delivering the FM services contract
- Other duties as may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business

- Minor Mechanical and Electrical works
- Minor plumbing works
- Minor buildings works
- Good understanding of Health & Safety working practices.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Flexible practical common sense attitude
- Highly motivated and organised
- A friendly customer focused manner; polite; can do attitude. Good command of spoken and written English and a clear communicator.
