Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS) is a fast growing innovative Agritech OEM changing how the world does farming. Their leading edge indoor vertical farming towers allow IGS to control the weather and grow a range of plants, crops, fruit and herbs simultaneously at optimum conditions anywhere in the world.
Employing over 200 staff between sites in Edinburgh, outside Dundee and Inverkeithing in Fife, we are starting to sell vertical farming towers globally. We are currently scaling up our inhouse marketing function and capabilities and we need to recruit a Website Manager to support sales and commercial growth.
Reporting into the Demand Generation Manager Europe, the Website Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a website marketing and SEO strategy to promote the brand and generate leads through organic traffic. With support from the graphic designer, you will lead any website refreshes and redesigns to improve the online experience and customer journey. Working with internal teams will be a crucial part of this role to ensure the site maintains the highest security standards and complies with appropriate laws and regulations across the UK, EU and USA. Key responsibilities include:
- Create and implement a global website and SEO strategy that aligns with the business goals
- Carry out website audits and implement site improvements to enhance the website experience
- Drive improved SEO performance through content audits and SEO gap analysis
- Continual conversion rate optimisation through the use of A/B testing
- Ensure active campaigns and product launches are represented on the website
- Responsible for updating website content, uploading the latest blogs and content pieces and creating new web pages where needed
- Owning and driving key website projects, collaborating with the wider marketing team on website refreshes and redesigns
- Constant review/improvement to the user experience with the Website Designer
- Ensure all copy received from the product marketing and content teams is optimised to boost visibility
- Measure and analyse web performance and visitor behaviour.
You are ideally qualified to degree calibre in Marketing, Business or a creative related discipline, with relevant experience of building and executing website and SEO enhancement and sales support strategies in a B2B environment. We would be very keen to hear from a candidate who can show growth in website development in an SME or high tech environment and who has been on a journey, or someone who can specifically show how their website expertise has supported broader sales and marketing objectives.
