We are currently seeking a skilled Car Body Worker to join our team. As a Car Body Worker, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition. You will work with a variety of vehicles, including luxury and high-performance cars, using a range of tools and equipment. You must know how to strip and fit, panel beat, fabricate and welding, fill and prepare, prime and paint.
Responsibilities:
Assessing the damage to vehicle bodies and creating repair plans
Removing damaged body parts and replacing them with new ones
Straightening out dents and bends in vehicle bodies
Filling and sanding vehicle bodies to prepare them for painting
Applying paint and finish coats to vehicle bodies
Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and specifications
Keeping up to date with industry developments and techniques
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Car Body Worker or similar role
Knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and tools
Good understanding of vehicle mechanics
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work overtime when required
