Assistant Planner

• Planning & forecasting demand, liaising with suppliers on intake and lead times.
• Review weekly fabric stock and sales & plan purchase orders accordingly.
• Liaise with manufacturers to ensure smooth production flows and relay any issues internally.
• Produce & present Shack lessons learnt, making suggestions to the retail team for seasonal sample changes.
• Managing new launches and exit strategies for fabrics and MTO categories.
• Assist with special projects aligned with company objectives & growth.
• Assist the MTO Planner with trading actions, and deputise in their absence.
• Produce, analyse and present daily, weekly and monthly reports and KPI's, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Managing and developing the Merchandising Admin Assistant.

• Highly analytical and extremely organised - attention to detail is key!
• Great time management with the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills as this role will involve interaction with suppliers, warehouse and internal functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a have keen interest in systems.
• This role would be suited to candidates already operating at Assistant Planner or Merchandiser level with forecasting experience and a minimum 3 years in Merch/Planning.
• Furniture and/or fabric experience would be a bonus, a keen interest in homewares is essential.

This role will be hybrid working from home and from our Engine Room, you will get lots of on-the-job support from our creative & friendly Merchandising/Planning team.
