Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for individuals to join a growing team of Water Meter Readers working on behalf of the UK’s leading energy suppliers obtaining accurate readings at customers’ properties.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Visiting residential, commercial, and industrial sites to obtain Water Utility meter readings.
- Carry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment.
- Recording all information obtained on an electronic device.
- The role requires the successful candidate to undertake work involving Working at Height and Feed-In Tariff.
The Requirements of the role are as follows:
- A Driving Licence entitling you to drive in the UK with no more than 6 points.
- Use of your own vehicle with business insurance & current MOT (if applicable)
- Excellent customer service skills with a flexible approach to tasks & working hours.
- Open to working in all weather conditions.
- Ideally prior experience in a similar background.
This is a permanent role, full time, offering 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with a £11.32 per hour rate plus benefits:
- Bonus Scheme: An achievable and generous bonus scheme to be discussed further at interview stage.
- Holidays: 30 Days holiday incremental to 33 days with yearly service (inclusive of Bank holidays)
- Mileage Cover: We cover 31p per mile that you travel in your car.
