ELECTRONICS ENGINEER
Malloy Aeronautics Ltd is an innovative and rapidly growing company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Engaged in cutting edge technology design, build and manufacture unmanned air vehicles.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
This role requires proven knowledge and experience with microcontrollers, software (C,C++,Python), electrical, comms and other electronics skills.
Full time role for an immediate start.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Please note: This is not a suitable role for a graduate engineer with no work experience. This is also a very hands-on role, using bench equipment and working with our vehicles, customer hardware, and with other team members - as such, this role is a full-time office based role.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering bachelor’s or equivalent, with greater than 2 years of engineering experience
- Knowledge and experience integrating hardware systems, using comms protocols such as Serial, I2C, CAN etc, and integrating hardware such as radios, sensors, actuators etc.
- Proven experience with C/C++, Python and other languages desirable - Goal focused engineering.
- Experience with low bandwidth communications (PWM, Serial, IC2 etc) – desirable if candidate is familiar with common protocols and hardware.
DESIRABLE:
- Experience with PCB and Spice simulation software
- Experience with robotics or unmanned aerial systems
- Willingness to travel within UK and overseas if required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integration of hardware and software on R&D vehicles - including electronics design, microcontroller programming, system testing
- Acting as point of contact for all technical issues relating to integrated hardware and designs
- Liaise with other engineers to resolve production and design issues
- Design of test procedures to ensure systems meet the current standards
- Responsible for controlling personal workload and identifying any further resource need
