Position Overview & Specifications
We're MAMS, a fresh new Arabic street food concept in London, Knightsbridge. We're a small company with a bold mission - to bring clean, fresh and fun ideas to turn the Arabic food industry on its head. Think shawarmas, falafel, manaeesh all presented in a healthy way. Our venue has been designed with an urban theme, and features a stripped back menu focusing on Middle Eastern classics executed with modern precision.
The role:
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, juices and smoothies.
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
- Cleaning service and seating areas
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
- Servicing customers and taking orders
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
- Receiving and processing customer payments
We are ideally looking for candidates who:
- Have previous experience working within a high volume venue
- Have some Barista experience (training will be provided)
- Are passionate about creating fantastic coffees with the ability to advise and recommend to customers
- Are attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of customers and the management team
- Are excellent team players with exceptional communication skills
