Position Overview & Specifications
- Own the month end close process for field payroll across the Retail & Wholesale channels, producing month end packs, monitoring variances to forecast and providing commentary to explain movements
- Supporting the Retail Finance Manager with the annual budgeting process and subsequent iterations throughout the year
- Lead monthly meetings with Regional Directors and HR Business Partners to review store headcount and performance against key payroll related KPI’s
- Monthly commission and bonus calculations for store staff, liaising with the Retail field team for feedback
- Quarterly / monthly sales bonus plans for stores – own full process including presenting to Retail Directors and collating feedback from District Managers. Responsible for phasing of these plans down to weekly & daily level of detail
- Working closely with the senior Retail, HR and field teams on ad hoc analysis to help drive business performance, including developing new employee incentive strategies and providing financial support for pay range reviews
- Support the Retail team with ad hoc analysis and process improvements
- Support the Wholesale team with the seasonal and weekly market orders process, updating the weekly shipments dashboard and managing the monthly cost tracker, including variance analysis
- Provide monthly, quarterly and ad hoc analysis to EMEA leadership and US Finance team
- University Graduate or approx. 1-2 years’ experience preferred
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA (Beginner or part qualified), study support provided
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Understand the fashion retail business in order to advise on opportunities for further business growth and operational excellence
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
