Are you an operational delivery leader? Are you ready to take the next step in your career?
As our Director of Operations, you will lead our Housing, Waste and Public Health teams. Your remit will include everything from our retained housing stock to waste collection, from our parks, maintenance and enforcement to public health; giving you the ability to steer the majority of interaction that the Council has with its customers.

We are committed to a significant housing investment programme to deliver more affordable, sustainable and energy efficient homes and we have just completed a major change to our waste and recycling service – all delivered through our excellent in-house service teams.
In addition to an outstanding professional opportunity, we also offer a fantastic quality of life, being based in the glorious Devonshire countryside, while being within easy access of the M5, the city amenities of Exeter and the link road to the beaches and coastline of North Devon. A choice of relocation packages are available for candidates wishing to relocate to Mid Devon.
