The Team provides planned/reactive maintenance and emergency services 24/7, 365 days a year to 96 buildings across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Derbyshire, and for any other sites that Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust cover under contracts.

  • plastering small areas
  • estimating how much paint or wallpaper is needed

You will also be encouraged to become multiskilled. This post would be suitable for an experienced individual with a strong background in the painting and decorating trade. Good attitude, punctuality, organisational and listening skills are a key part of this role as well as the ability to work as a team player within a large team.

Full current driving license for driving Trust vehicles. You may be required to use your personal vehicle for traveling between Trust sites during the course of your working day in accordance with Trust policy/procedure no: 10.09 subject: Travel & Expenses are reimbursed. In additional to your annual salary, a payment of £3,500pa pro rata RRP will be paid.

Please note that this post may not meet the pay and skill level required for a Skilled worker visa

Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa and also does not appear on the shortage occupation list for healthcare and education. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker Visa can determine the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship against the relevant criteria herehttps://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa
