Position Overview & Specifications
We require a reporting analyst to work with stakeholders from around the firm to identity reporting needs, work with those stakeholders to design reports and dashboards/visualisations to meet their requirements, work with IT to ensure that systems are able to produce these reports and visualisations and finally build and maintain those reports and dashboards/visualisations.
The main responsibilities are:
- Work with stakeholders to determine their reporting requirements.
- Design reports and dashboards/visualisations to meet those requirements.
- Work with IT to build the infrastructure to deliver those reports and dashboards/visualisations.
- Build reports using tools such as Excel, Cognos and PowerBI.
- Continually improve those reports, dashboard/visualisations.
- Document reports, dashboards/visualisations for Support.
- Work with stakeholders to define data strategy
- Work with stakeholders to improve data quality and data integrity.
- Undertake other tasks as required.
- Experience of Microsoft SQL, data warehouses and data lakes, OLAP cubes, Cognos, Excel and Power BI.
- Requirements gathering and business analysis experience.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Experience within a legal environment
