Position Overview & Specifications
- Responsible for health and safety within allocated process stream
- Responsible for 5S, including audits within allocated process stream
- Conduct initial accident investigations, as required
- Conduct safe / unsafe behaviour discussions with employees
- Review process performance through a daily summary and escalation meeting with the Production Manager
- Work with Operators and the Pillars to improve data quality, review and update standards, eradicate forbidden losses and ensure effective communication and implementation
- Attend daily production plan deployment meeting
- Actions on deviations to ensure product flow, KPIs and project progress
- Manage Loss Reduction Actions or projects to eradicate losses and improve KPI performance
- Facilitate weekly project meetings and ensure daily that agreed actions are being completed
- Review quarterly performance data and KPI loss analysis, confirm loss reduction plan for following quarter and KPI targets.
- Ensure effective communication with employees
- Support the Aberdare Production Manager with people related actions
- In conjunction with employees develop, maintain and communicate SOPs
- Ensure effective handovers are completed
