As a Machinist Operator you will be involved in Operating and learning a variety of large and complex machines. We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits. What you will be doing: You will be completing all engineering tasks with adherence to H&S and environmental regulations.

• Do manual machining on a variety of milling, turning, sawing, and grinding machines to manufacture bespoke parts from a variety of different materials.
• Working as part of a team to ensure the successful transfer of a RR machining facility from Thurso Scotland to Raynesway – working away for short periods will be required during the transfer.
• Welding and sheet metal fabrication.
• Interpreting Engineering Drawings and liaising with design engineers to ensure components are manufactured to the highest standards.

• Served a full mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
• Qualified to NVQ3/ONC/HNC in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Computer literate with experience of using Windows, MS Excel, MS Word & Power Point.
• CNC programming and operating advantageous (Mazak Mazatrol).
