This internship is within our Chief Information Office (CIO) as a SOC Analyst (security operations centre) and will involve supporting the continuous improvement of RSAβs cybersecurity detection, investigation and response capabilities. The focus will be on providing day to day monitoring and analysis of alerts as well as carrying out proactive threat hunting. You will contribute to supporting the SOC Manager in maintaining up-to-date processes and reporting on detection and response metrics.

Responsibilities
In this internship opportunity, you can expect to be:
- Conducting day-to-day analysis of security alerts from automated tools
- Proactively threat hunting across RSAβs estate
- Assisting with developing and maintaining RSAβs detection and response capability.
- Contributing to continuously improving the capability through regular exercises, simulations and other activities.
- Contributing to advanced investigations with 3rd Triaging of malicious packages

You will need to be a Graduate in your penultimate year of study.
