Position Overview & Specifications
Homes for Students is the leading independant provider of Student Accommodation. We are looking for a confident, naturally organised and process-driven individual with excellent communication skills to join our rapidly growing team to assist with the development and ongoing running of the business systems used within the company. The ideal candidate will quickly gain in-depth knowledge of the systems and have an understanding of how these support the business.
Major Duties:
- Deal with the day to day management of the systems
- Act as a support function to the wider business by providing technical support when requested
- Support the team and provide system training to system users
- Log issue tickets with system support and follow the issue through to resolution
- Configure and maintain the system set up
- Understand the system capabilities and provide suggestions for improvement
Skills
- Must have very strong written English skills
- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to deal politely, professionally and effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to achieve goals and targets within timescales
- Ability to anticipate and consider needs of others and the business
