Position Overview & Specifications
Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.
We are currently recruiting for a Base Maintenance Consumables Stores Person to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the worldβs largest and most successful airlines.
Reports to: Base Maintenance Stores Supervisor
Location: Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM), PIK Airport
Duties will include, but not limited to;
- Responsible for the control of all stock movements into and out of consumable store both physically and on our engineering computer system.
- Ensuring required stock levels are maintained.
- Ensuring all materials are controlled in accordance with internal processes and quality procedures.
- Mixing and dispensing required amounts of Chemicals/Paint.
- Enforcement of PAML Consumable Parts process.
- Supply weekly usage reports.
- Monitor and report on trends/abnormal usage
Requirements
- Proactive, positive approach, ability to work on own initiative
- Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word or Smartsheet
- Knowledge of AMOS advantageous
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Experience working within the Airline Industry advantageous
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Warehouse experience
- Applicants should have unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Successful candidate is required to provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports.
