Position Overview & Specifications
- Our Sport Development Team is responsible for developing a range of sports programmes, activities, and events to help deliver an outstanding student experience, from beginners right through to elite athletes.
- Our Sport Operations Team is responsible for delivering a quality user experience across our sport facility portfolio that includes our Sports Park, Athletics Stadium and two on campus gyms and sports halls.
The Role Working as part of the Sport Development Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a performance sport programmes, initiatives and support to ensure a high quality service to our talented student athletes looking to balance their sporting endeavours with their academic aspirations. Managing multiple priorities, you will be a confident communicator, with strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues. You will also need to demonstrate creativity and flexibility in your approach to your work along with proactively contributing to a can-do culture to deliver performance sport support to our students and stakeholders. We are looking for an organised, team player who can work collaboratively and efficiently to achieve successful outcomes.
