Smith Robotics Ltd is a small business in Didcot. Here at Smith Robotics, we focus on helping teams with design, development, and updates of electronics products for a range of industries. Working with innovators just starting out with a great idea, through to FTSE 100 companies needing help updating designs, we are here to help navigate the process of electronics development. We also have a range of industry partners that we can utilise in large scale manufacturing, and mechanical design to enable your business to achieve your requirements..

We are embarking on an ambitious project which requires a mixture of firmware engineering on microcontrollers, software engineering on Linux servers and some web development. The project we are hiring for needs an engineer willing to learn, has creative ideas and is able to take control of their part of the project.
This position is aimed towards someone who is currently studying Electronics, Computer Science or Robotics at university. They must be keen to get stuck in, ask questions and take initiative. They will be working in a small and agile team, and will be exposed to a rapid product development environment.
There is also a well established student and graduate community onsite that would be a benefit to anyone looking to expand their network!

Contract length: 4 months
Salary: £1,700.00-£1,900.00 per month
