We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at the team leading level and oversee the productivity and welfare of the staff on site.
Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week. Candidate will need to cover 8 hrs shifts between 8:00-20:00 on Mondays to Fridays or 8:00-14:00 on Saturdays.
What is involved?- Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively.
- Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trustβs appointed person.
An annual salary of Β£20,375.00 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours! Plus a higher cost of living allowance if you reside in London.
