What is the role?

We are looking for Cable Protection System (CPS) Project Engineers who can be based in our office in Aberdeen – UK, Oslo- Norway or Zoetermeer, The Netherlands on a staff or contract basis.

As a CPS Project Engineer you will support internal stakeholders with the execution of scopes of work for fixed offshore wind CPS and associated equipment.

Main areas of responsibilities:

• Supporting the procurement team in evaluating the compliance of various Cable Protection Systems (CPS) in terms of design, testing & reliability.
• Reviewing designs and supplier technical proposals to ensure the suitability of solutions across all functional areas (installation, foundations, scour protection, cable supply, etc.)
• Assisting the Project Engineering Manager to ensure that the supply package is on time, on budget, and, most importantly, in compliance with the technical requirements and highest quality standards.
• Maintaining interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a record of changes and lessons learned.
• Possible participation in offshore jobs as part of the operation team in the function of Field Engineer.

What are we looking for?

• We encourage applications from those with a relevant Bachelors / Masters degree (for example Mechanical / Marine / Naval Engineering) and will also consider those with equivalent technical qualifications or experience.
• Previous working experience as a Project Engineer in an umbilical or CPS related environment.
• Good technical & communication skills.
• The candidate should be creative, enthusiastic, structured, focused, independent and take ownership in the work.
