Position Overview & Specifications
The position of Deployment Co-ordinator is based primarily at The Utilita Arena, the main responsibility of this role is to provide appropriately timed and skilled staff into our many shows, concerts and events for The Utilita Arena .
Examples of the work you will be undertaking on a daily basis include:
- The staffing of all events within the business areas ensuring that the calibre of the people you deploy best represent the Amadeus and The NEC Group
- Being the first line contact for all variably paid employees and workers
- Reacting to and implementing solutions regarding cancellations, shortfalls and changing business levels
- Assisting with the recruitment and selection of our casual workforce
- Building of relationships with internal and external suppliers
- Working with the operational managers to ensure that the service we deliver to our customers is to the highest standard
- The flexibility and willingness to support Deployment Co-ordinators at our other venues is essential. Due to the nature of our businesses and the role you will be required to work evenings, weekends and early mornings with the possibility of staying away from home on occasion.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience within Admin
- Have experience with customer service
- Be proficient in IT packages including Microsoft Office Knowledge of workforce scheduling systems would be beneficial
- Have an excellent telephone manner gained in an office environment
- Be an excellent verbal and written communicator
- Be able to multitask with the ability to work on numerous projects at any given time, delivering all in a timely manner to a standard with excellent attention to detail
- Proactively seek solutions to issues that may arise
- Be customer focused
- Be experienced in high volume deployment
- Have a knowledge of catering operations
- Self motivated and able to work well as a team
