If you are ready for the challenge, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a unique service as it moves from a research project to a screening program pilot with a view to it becoming a national screening program at the end of the pilot.

The Radiology directorate is in the Imaging Division which also includes Nuclear Medicine. The Division is in Surgery and Cancer Board which is led by the Medical Director. Radiology services are provided at 5 sites across the UCLH campus. We provide CT, MRI, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology services.Person specification
Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc or Diploma in Radiography
- State Registration
- Evidence of relevant continuing professional development
- Evidence that knowledge of general radiographic techniques is up to date
Experience
Essential criteria
- Range of radiographic experience gained as a student or in first post
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with students
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate awareness of advocacy for patients
- Previous experience of emergency duties (possibly as a student)
- Evidence of participation in teamwork, both uni- and multi- professional
- Passed fit through an occupational health assessment to perform full duties of the role
Communication
