About the role

UCL Library Services forms part of the LCCOS department, library services consist of 14 libraries which includes the flagship UCL Student Centre.

we are looking fo a part time Student Centre Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising a team of Information Assistants who provide first-line support for enquiries, learning spaces and technology with the building.

This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working

About you

Equivalent career experience, experience of line managing staff. Ability to supervise a team and work with colleagues towards strategic goals. Ability to self-motivate and to motivate colleagues in shared endeavours.

What we offer

Salary

The post is graded as UCL Grade 6 with salary in the range £32,331 - £37,548 pro-rata per annum including London Allowance.

Probation

Appointments are subject to a probationary period of 6 months.

Annual leave

Annual leave is 27 working days for a full-time member of staff and 6 UCL closure days in addition to 8 Bank Holidays.

Pension

Appointments are superannuable under the Universities Superannuation Scheme(USS).
