Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our expanding team to generate new business out of existing clients within a new product vertical for the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales revenue from our current live accounts, predominantly in the warehousing and manufacturing sectors. This will include building rapport with key contacts, identifying the commercial value we have delivered our clients on previous projects and using this information to generate additional opportunities. It will also include identifying and gaining referrals to new contacts within existing clients to generate further opportunities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities from 23 existing clients.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Developing and presenting proposals to clients.
- Negotiating agreements with clients.
- Managing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Building and maintaining a thorough understanding of the companys products and services.
- Meeting or exceeding established sales goals.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
Skills:
- Proven track record of successful sales and account management in a B2B environment
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented.
