Position Overview & Specifications
We are currently recruiting for a Distributor to join our Merchandising team based at our High Street Head Office, Swindon. The main purpose of the role is to allocate the right stock, to the right location, in a timely manner within agreed timescales/budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and use the correct replenishment method
- Track and maintain SKU/store level availability
- Track and maintain promotional availability
- Track and maintain DC availability
- Liaise with the DC to understand the status of deliveries, check queries and request additional waves
- Review forward line plans
- Prepare and key orders from the system
- Collate and send orders for direct supplied products to our direct suppliers
- Respond to store related queries
- Compile ad hoc analysis
Essential Skills:
- Similar experience in a Logistics/ supply chain role would be highly beneficial
- Understanding of replenishment & allocation methods
- Good analytical skills
- Intermediate Excel
- Ability to identify trends, and consider the impact (eg.Cost/stock)
